How We Help Patients

Xtreme Everest aims to improve outcomes for people who become critically ill. Currently, not only do 20% of people admitted to intensive care in the UK each year die, but a significant number of those that survive never regain the same quality of life they were experiencing prior to their admission.

Whilst undertaking research to change these outcomes is our primary objective, we are also keen to point intensive care patients and their loved ones in the direction of information and support that may assist them to cope with their current situation.
