Xtreme Archive: The Mountain Song Top 20

It's the 27 March 2007 and the Daily Mail were asking Did Knut the celebrity polar bear kill Yan Yan the panda? and Postman Pat was packing his bags and setting sail for the USA as he made his TV debut.

Elsewhere in the USA, scientist at the University of Maryland were telling us how they created a healthier pizza by exploiting the baking and fermenting process of the dough.

Meanwhile in Kathmandu, the team were making lists and singing songs as they came up with the ultimate Top 20 song list of mountain songs.

When in Kathmandu, the Caudwell Xtreme Team came up with a list of top 20 mountain songs. These songs may not have the word mountain in the title, but did refer to mountains in the lyrics, or fitted with an Everest theme. Songs about hills were rejected. The top 20 is listed below:
