Extreme Medicine Conference
Prof Mike Tipton will be speaking about cold water immersion
Join Xtreme Everest's Professor Mike Tipton at the Extreme Medicine Conference taking place at Kings College on the 5th and 6th February 2016.
Mike, who is a leading expert in hypothermia and submersion medicine will be speaking to attendees about cold water immersion.
Other talks on offer will be looking at emergency and wilderness medicine, including a talk from Lt. Col Stephen Lewis, consultant intensivist, Royal Army Medical Corps who will be speaking about the fight against Ebola in Sierra Leone. There will also be small group workshops including mass casualty pre-hospital scenario, A+E simulation. extraction and major haemorrhage control.
